Bethan at 3 weeks old

She did a 7 hr stretch last night! She has been going to bed around 8-9pm and doing 6 hrs until 2 am and then going back down from 3 - 6 am but last night she slept from 8-3am then back down from 4-7am. It was lovely to have that much sleep.

She's doing so well, she was 4.3kg at 2 weeks 2 days which is about 700grams up from her birth weight.

She's in a bit of a routine during the day too, ive been trying to get her to have a little sleep in the morning, but the a bigger 2 +hr sleep at lunchtime, and then she will just do a few little naps before bedtime.  In the next few weeks I will work on getting her bed time down to 7pm and then 6pm.

She also started cooing properly at 3 weeks 2 days and has been smiling since day 4.

18 months old

Our little boy is a year and a half! Time is flying by at the moment. So far, he hasn't been saying too much, but I think he has been trying to say a few things such as 'truck' and babbling in his own lanaguage. He also says 'Yeah' when we ask him something and its something he wants! He is understanding so much now though. We can ask him questions and he definitely knows what we are saying and what he wants/doesn't want!! if we ask him 'where's your tummy/nose/mouth/etc' he will find them and point. He is running everywhere, loves kicking balls around the house + outside, although when he is outside he seems to prefer to explore, try and dig with a little shovel, and play in water! He is fascinated with spinning around at the moment, I think he likes the dizzy feeling he gets!

Lately

This little monkey was a bit proud of himself for getting up on his chair!  We spent a morning the other week in the garden with the dogs running round, Cadell loved that and was a little bit sad that he couldn't chase after the dogs! Won't be long before he is though... Its been a funny week as Matt has been off sick all week. I find it difficult to stick to my usual schedule when he's home, so I don't feel like everything has got done. But that is ok. Matt's birthday tomorrow, not sure what we are doing for it yet, maybe go out for a later lunch (after Cadell wakes up from his nap) and not too much else as he is still not 100%.  Only 1 more week (next week) of school, and then the following week I will work 1 day and the other 2 days Cadell will stay in Daycare and I have a long long list of Spring Cleaning/Decluttering to get done. Routine for Cadell

I just created this with a template from KaylaAimee and photoshop. I am hoping it will help with keeping Cadell on a schedule in the mornings, we will see how it goes tomorrow! I added the 'unload dishwasher' job, as he always wants to help me with it whenever he can - so he wont be actually unloading the dishwasher by himself, more 'assisting' me and we can hopefully get it done together in under 20 minutes!!
