Liam turns One

Our second boy turned 1 on the 20th of June.

We had a little family party, just Gran and Pop, and Uncle Dan and cousin Max who also just turned 1. He seemed to have a lot of fun opening his presents and playing with everyone, and enjoyed a little bit of cake!

He now has nearly 2 teeth, with at least 2 more on the way causing lots of pain. He is such a cheeky little boy and loves climbing. He loves figuring out how to put things together, cruising round furniture, has stood up a few times briefly by himself but no walking yet.

At his 12 month appointment he was off the charts with height at 82cm, above average with weight at 11.38kg. He went well with his needles, barely crying.

He still doesn't consistently sleep through the night but was getting more regular with it. He's been sick lately though so it's been a bit disrupted.

3d scan pictures

At 36 weeks we got a 3d/4d scan done, it was amazing to see the detail!

18 months old

Our little boy is a year and a half! Time is flying by at the moment. So far, he hasn't been saying too much, but I think he has been trying to say a few things such as 'truck' and babbling in his own lanaguage. He also says 'Yeah' when we ask him something and its something he wants! He is understanding so much now though. We can ask him questions and he definitely knows what we are saying and what he wants/doesn't want!! if we ask him 'where's your tummy/nose/mouth/etc' he will find them and point. He is running everywhere, loves kicking balls around the house + outside, although when he is outside he seems to prefer to explore, try and dig with a little shovel, and play in water! He is fascinated with spinning around at the moment, I think he likes the dizzy feeling he gets!

Routine for Cadell

I just created this with a template from KaylaAimee and photoshop. I am hoping it will help with keeping Cadell on a schedule in the mornings, we will see how it goes tomorrow! I added the 'unload dishwasher' job, as he always wants to help me with it whenever he can - so he wont be actually unloading the dishwasher by himself, more 'assisting' me and we can hopefully get it done together in under 20 minutes!!
