Underwater World

On Saturday we decided to use the voucher that we had been planning on using since before Liam was born and go to Underwater World. We left early to get there when it opened pretty much, it took an hour to get there and we arrived at around 9.

Cadell was a little bit wary of getting too close to the exhibits at first, but loved looking at all the tanks with the different types of sea creatures.

His favourites were the barramundi and other freshwater fish, and of course he loved the water displays as water is one of his favourite things. I think he would have loved to get in with some of the fish!

The sharks were a bit scary, particularly the one hanging from the ceiling!! Daddy had to carry him past that one.

Liam did really well, very content in the pram while we walked around.

We had some fish and chips by the mariner for lunch afterwards, and Cadell and Daddy fed some chips to the fish and birds there while I fed Liam.

We left around 12:15pm, and I think Cadell fell asleep at 12:16pm, Liam was asleep in another 10 minutes also. We managed to leave Cadell in the car in the garage for some more sleep once we got home, as he hasnt been napping well and needed the extra sleep! It was a lovely day and was very worth going. Will definitely do it again in another year or so!

At 36 weeks we got a 3d/4d scan done, it was amazing to see the detail!

Project 365 Week 3 Days 15-21

Project 365 Week 3. Lining up his cars. He says 'Ar ok, tuck?' (Are you ok truck) when one moves out of line. Jan 15 Cleaning the house for photos as it has gone on the market. We don't really want to have to move after only moving in a month ago. :( Jan 16 Holding the bottle himself. He seems to have been preferring the bottle more than me at the moment. Jan 17 Already throwing the ball for Tessie. Jan 18 Slept 13 hours straight last night! First time for months that he has done that. Jan 19 Not part of project 365 but this was Cadell at the park, he had a great time! Jan 19 Happy 7 months to Liam! Standing by himself clever boy. Jan 20 37 degrees today so he came in a bit sweaty after his morning play! Jan 21

Bethan at 3 weeks old

She did a 7 hr stretch last night! She has been going to bed around 8-9pm and doing 6 hrs until 2 am and then going back down from 3 - 6 am but last night she slept from 8-3am then back down from 4-7am. It was lovely to have that much sleep. She's doing so well, she was 4.3kg at 2 weeks 2 days which is about 700grams up from her birth weight. She's in a bit of a routine during the day too, ive been trying to get her to have a little sleep in the morning, but the a bigger 2 +hr sleep at lunchtime, and then she will just do a few little naps before bedtime. In the next few weeks I will work on getting her bed time down to 7pm and then 6pm. She also started cooing properly at 3 weeks 2 days and has been smiling since day 4.
