Liam at 8 weeks

Weight - somewhere around 6.5kgs ( haven't weight him on baby scales since his 6 week check - had to weigh him with me on normal scales!)
Length - not sure either.

He has developed a bit of baby acne, and a few spots of cradle cap on the back of his head.

At 8 weeks Liam is starting to become more of a baby and less of a newborn. He is starting to try and giggle when you tickle his cheeks, or in reaction to you talking to him.

I have noticed however that he does seem to have torticollis like his brother. I have started being vigilant with doing exercises to stretch and strengthen his neck, increased tummy time (whenever he is awake he will go on his tummy until he gets upset) and watching his head as I have noticed a slight flattening on one side. I have tried to re-position during naptimes in the day, and he still sleeps with his pillow that is supposed to prevent flathead.

He has just started sleeping from 7pmish-3am, more often than not. which is nice, I am enjoying having most of my evening back and the extra sleep! He is still such a good boy when it comes to settling back to sleep in the night, I never have a problem getting him back down.

Nothing really to update, although my morning sickness has improved a lot and my back and neck have been pretty good too as long as I don't overdo it. We are going away this weekend which is very exciting. The boys have been challenging as I have been doing a lot myself with Matt working at the old house a few nights and on the weekend, but we handed that over on Sunday so happy to have that done. As far as we know it all went well we didn't hear anything so the cleaning etc must have been fine. Gender scan next Friday!

Beach

Our trip to the beach at Redcliffe this weekend.

18 months old

Our little boy is a year and a half! Time is flying by at the moment. So far, he hasn't been saying too much, but I think he has been trying to say a few things such as 'truck' and babbling in his own lanaguage. He also says 'Yeah' when we ask him something and its something he wants! He is understanding so much now though. We can ask him questions and he definitely knows what we are saying and what he wants/doesn't want!! if we ask him 'where's your tummy/nose/mouth/etc' he will find them and point. He is running everywhere, loves kicking balls around the house + outside, although when he is outside he seems to prefer to explore, try and dig with a little shovel, and play in water! He is fascinated with spinning around at the moment, I think he likes the dizzy feeling he gets!
