Our Little Family

Lately Cadell has been challenging, but he has also been a joy. The last few weeks he has been sick on and off with last week being a very challenging time due to his sickness ( screaming for a while at a time and tantrums at the slightest thing, completely irrational behaviour) which has been hard, as I had thought maybe this is just a new phase he is going into. At daycare they said isn't one who has tantrums but could be learning as a lot of the others do, but I am so glad that it is almost 100% due to his illness lately ( ear infection causing him lots of pain and teething issues too).  His true temperament is a very sweet one, he is a genuinely happy child and always has been. In saying that I am seeing now that he is also very stubborn and determined when he wants something. He is starting to have little tantrums, they last 20 seconds and are usually when he is tired and trying to do something such as stacking or lining up toys and it doesn't work the way he is wanting...

He is growing up so fast!

I am trying not to stress too much about the house selling and everything else that is happening in the next few months. I am a bit sad at the moment though as I am stressing about keeping everything clean and tidy for inspections/open house and with Cadell being very unsettled the last few days (teething/sore throat) it has made things difficult and I am exhausted. I am sad that I can't let him make a mess and do things like painting and colouring with him at the moment. I can't wait to be in our new place that hopefully will have a really good outdoor area and we can do painting/sand play/water play outside a lot before the new baby is born. I am also sad that I haven't really given the new baby much thought over the past 6-7 weeks. Really since the beginning of the year. It has been a much different pregnancy to Cadell's, in alot of ways it has been a simple pregnancy, as I have just literally been too busy to think much about symptoms etc. I guess that comes with ...

The house is officially up for sale. Well, currently waiting for the listing to go up on realestate.com but the for sale sign is there and these are the photos they took yesterday. A lot of hard work has gone into making it look as good as it does in these photos. I am currently hobbling like an old person because of it! ( might also have something to do with doing that much work while 30 weeks pregnant). Now all we can do is pray for a very quick sale at the right price! Open house is on Sat at 10am.
